- UNIT 10: The Peoples of East AfricaThis unit introduces the major ethnic groups of East Africa. It also explores the concepts of immigration and emigration, focusing on their causes and effects within the region.4
- UNIT 5: Direction and LocationThis unit expands learners' geographical skills by teaching them how to use latitudes and longitudes for precise location. It also covers the concept of time zones and their global significance.4
- UNIT 6: Physical Features and Effects of Climate ChangeLearners will study the main physical features of Rwanda, East Africa, and Africa, including their formation and importance. The unit also covers climate types, characteristics, and the critical issue of climate change and its impacts.6
- UNIT 8: Natural ResourcesLearners will explore the natural resources found in Rwanda, East Africa, and Africa. The unit focuses on the importance of these resources and the critical need for their preservation for future generations.4
- UNIT 11: Post-Independence RwandaThis unit covers a significant period in Rwandan history, from the First and Second Republics to the Liberation War and the establishment of the Government of National Unity. It may include visits to museums for deeper contextual learning.6
- UNIT 9: Transport and CommunicationThis unit examines the forms, types, and importance of transport and communication networks in East Africa. It also addresses the difficulties and dangers associated with these networks and measures to overcome them.5
- UNIT 15: Relationship and FriendshipThis unit guides learners in understanding the meaning and importance of healthy relationships and friendships. It teaches them to identify characteristics of both healthy and unhealthy relationships and provides strategies for coping with peer pressure.6
