📘 P2 Mathematics
Description
Welcome to the Primary 2 Mathematics Program!
This course strengthens learners’ foundational numeracy skills while guiding them to confidently explore larger numbers, measurement, geometry, and real-life mathematical applications. Through hands-on activities, games, problem-solving tasks, and everyday examples, pupils develop accuracy, logical thinking, and fluency with numbers.
Learners progress from working with numbers up to 200 to understanding place value up to 1000, performing all four operations, interpreting pictographs, using money, telling time, and working with measurement units such as meters, litres, and kilograms. Concepts are introduced gradually—ensuring mastery, confidence, and enjoyment throughout the year.
